Well, it’s officially here…
Hello Two Thousand Eighteen!
I know we all get to this time of year and ask ourselves the same question.
How did the year go by so fast? What did we do? Now what?!
Seriously though, where did the past 365 days go?!
Personally, this past year is kinda a blur. More so a rollercoaster ride of events, emotions, traveling, work, and it’s honestly hard to think about how I came to be where I am today. It is truly amazing how someone’s life can change so much in such a short time span.
I know mine has.
So for starters, I want to thank you. I want to thank the friends and family in my life who have been there in a moments notice to lend a helping hand. Those who have been there to support, encourage, and guide me this past year-long chapter of my life. Those who continue to put up with my obsession for photography and those of you who spend time reading my blog. I hope you all know it is greatly appreciated.
I’m healthier and happier than I’ve ever been. I’ve learned new skills. I continue to build my creative craft for the photography and video work I do. I have two amazing little gentleman who I admire and learn from on a regular basis. I’ve met many new faces and I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything. Everything happens for a reason. I feel truly blessed to start 2018 as a new chapter in this book of life.
I can’t wait to see what this new year has in store for me, my boys, family, friends, career, photography, travel, and new people. 2017 brought just over 100,000 views to my work, so for this new year, buckle up and keep your arms inside, because this rollercoaster ride is just beginning!
I started going through photos of the past year and realized how many photos I actually take…so I’ll post just a small portion of adventures I captured throughout the year.
And as you look through them I’ll leave you with a few thoughts to rattle in your brain. What do you want out of 2018 for yourself? What can you do to pay it forward for someone else? What are your goals and passions that you want to pursue? What are you waiting for?
These years aren’t getting any longer or slower, so take advantage here and now. See something you want, go get it. See an obstacle in front of you, go tackle it. There will never be a better more convenient time than now to just start doing. So if you’re anything like me, seize the moment and move forward without fear. What’s stopping you?
Much love to you all. Happy New Year!
