📸 Kalihikai Park & Anini Beach | Kauai, Hawaii
📝 My Story:
After leaving the lush Secret Beach trail, we continued exploring the north shore of Kauai and stumbled upon two more coastal gems: Kalihikai Park and Anini Beach.
Kalihikai Park was quiet, with just a few locals soaking in the sunshine — it felt like a peaceful backyard gathering. Right next to it lies Anini Beach, which stretches along one of the longest and calmest reef-protected shorelines in Kauai.
Unlike some of Kauai’s bigger beaches, Anini Beach offers a much more relaxed vibe, ideal for picnics, swimming, and even beginner snorkeling. The shallow waters extend quite far before dropping off, making it a favorite for families with young kids.
It’s easy to lose track of time here, just admiring the stunning blue waters and swaying palm trees.
