📸 Puu Hinahina Lookout | Kauai, Hawaii
📝 My Story
Puu Hinahina Lookout is one of those perfect “quick stop” moments along Waimea Canyon Drive that you simply can’t pass up.
Located in Koke’e State Park, this lookout gives you sweeping panoramic views across the majestic Waimea Canyon — often called "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific."
The vibrant layers of red, orange, and green that stretch across the valley walls are absolutely mesmerizing, especially when touched by golden sunlight.
We were lucky enough to catch it when the clouds briefly cleared, allowing the colors of the canyon to truly come alive.
There’s also a short trail from the lookout that leads to an even more incredible viewpoint, if you’re up for a little extra adventure.
Definitely a must-stop if you're heading toward Puu O Kila Lookout or exploring the Waimea Canyon area!
