📝 My Story:

Our first-ever snorkeling adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We booked a tour with Maui Snorkel Charters, and from start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic.
We departed early in the morning from the Kīhei Boat Landing, heading first toward the world-famous Molokini Crater, and later on to Turtle Town.
Both of these stops were filled with vibrant underwater life, colorful coral, and — you guessed it — sea turtles! 🐢

If you’ve never snorkeled before (like us), this experience will be unforgettable. The crew was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone was comfortable, even offering flotation belts to make snorkeling super easy.

Between floating above sea turtles, swimming inside a volcanic crater, and basking under the warm Hawaiian sun, this day will forever be one of our favorite memories in Maui!

💡 Pro Tip:

📸 Photography Tip:

If you have a GoPro or waterproof camera, practice a few test shots before getting into deep water. Underwater lighting is very different — bright mid-morning sun is best for clarity!

🎉 Fun Fact:

The Molokini Crater is all that remains of an ancient volcanic eruption over 230,000 years ago — and it’s considered one of the top snorkeling destinations in the world thanks to its clear water and thriving marine life.
It even inspired the artist behind the vibrant coral reef scenes in Disney's Finding Nemo!
