📸 Statue of Faith | Jaffa's Symbol of History and Hope
📝 My Story:
The Statue of Faith (also called the Pillars of Faith) — a symbolic, larger-than-life stone sculpture located in Abrasha Park, one of the highest points in Old Jaffa — immediately caught our attention as we explored the city.
Carved from solid limestone, it stands as a gate between past and present.
The statue’s three towering pillars each represent a biblical story:
The Binding of Isaac
Jacob’s Dream
The Fall of Jericho
Together, they symbolize faith, promise, and perseverance — themes that have shaped this land and its people for thousands of years.
Exploring this spot with Leza made it even more memorable.
We took turns standing between the towering pillars, framed perfectly by the skyline of Tel Aviv beyond.
Leza’s bright smile and joy lit up the stone arches, adding a feeling of life and wonder to the centuries-old carvings.
It was one of those simple, beautiful moments — surrounded by history, light, and endless blue skies.
We paused here for a while — letting the breeze roll through, taking photos from every angle, and soaking in the mix of stone, sea, and story.

🎉 Fun Fact:
The Statue of Faith was created by Israeli sculptor Daniel Kafri and symbolizes the deep spiritual connection between the people of Israel and the land.
Its carvings reflect not just stories of faith, but of challenge, promise, and endurance.
