We stayed at the Westin Hotel which was only a couple minutes from Time Square. It’s a prime location in the Theatre District, but you do pay more money to be close to all the action!

Day 3: Central Park

Day 3 Saturday: Pick a Bagel, Central Park, Vessel, Eat at Barbetta, and Evening Broadway Show - Hell’s Kitchen

Our main goal today was to explore Central Park. Neither of us had ever been there and with the weather relatively on our side, it was a cool day to walk around. Heading north from our hotel we stopped to grab a quick bite to eat at Pick a Bagel. It was not as good as Ess-a-Bagel, but still pretty delicious.

We entered the Central Park at the south entrance and were immediately greeted by so many street vendors and people offering us rides in their bikes to tour us to the major tourist attractions. Not only are they expensive, but we enjoy walking, so we happily took a picture of their map of where they wanted to drive us to and we walked there instead!

Because of the weather being a little chilly this morning it did seem as busy, but what do I know, this was my first time here. The wonderful thing about all of Manhattan is there are so many historic sites and sculptures to see. There are also so many locations where movies and TV shows have been produced and you may not even know it.
