Hello 2018!

Well, it’s officially here...

Hello, Two Thousand Eighteen!

I know we all reach this time of year and ask ourselves the same questions:

How did the year go by so fast?

What did we do?

Now what?!

Seriously, though, where did the past 365 days go?

Personally, this past year is kind of a blur. It was more of a roller-coaster ride filled with events, emotions, travel, and work. It’s honestly difficult to comprehend how I arrived where I am today.

It’s truly amazing how much someone’s life can change in such a short amount of time.

I know mine has.

For starters, I want to thank you.

I want to thank the friends and family in my life who have been there at a moment’s notice to lend a helping hand. Those who have supported, encouraged, and guided me through this past year-long chapter of my life.

Thank you to those who continue to put up with my obsession with photography—and those of you who spend time reading my blog. I hope you all know how greatly appreciated you are.

I’m healthier and happier than I’ve ever been.

I’ve learned new skills. I continue to build my creative craft through the photography and video work I do. I have two amazing little gentlemen whom I admire and learn from regularly.

I’ve met many new faces, and I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything.

Everything happens for a reason.

I feel truly blessed to begin 2018 as a new chapter in this book of life. I can’t wait to see what this new year has in store for me, my boys, my family, my friends, my career, photography, travel, and the new people I’ll meet along the way.

In 2017, my work received just over 100,000 views.

So, for this new year, buckle up and keep your arms inside—because this roller-coaster ride is just beginning!

I started looking through photographs from the past year and realized how many pictures I actually take. I’ll share just a small portion of the adventures I captured throughout the year.

As you look through them, I’ll leave you with a few thoughts to rattle around in your brain:

What do you want from 2018?

What can you do to pay it forward for someone else?

What goals and passions do you want to pursue?

What are you waiting for?

These years aren’t getting any longer or moving any slower, so take advantage of the here and now.

See something you want? Go get it.

See an obstacle in front of you? Go tackle it.

There will never be a better or more convenient time than now to simply start doing.

If you’re anything like me, seize the moment and move forward without fear.

What’s stopping you?

Much love to you all.

Happy New Year!
