๐ My Story:
Nestled just a short drive from Lฤซhuสปe, Wailua Falls is one of Kauaiโs most iconic waterfalls โ and itโs surprisingly easy to visit!
This breathtaking 80-foot double waterfall famously appeared in the opening credits of the TV show Fantasy Island, and it's even more spectacular in real life.
After a quick and scenic drive to a dead-end parking lot, youโre rewarded with an immediate view of the falls โ no strenuous hike required.
You can practically step out of your car and be met with misty air, roaring water, and lush green cliffs surrounding you.
We stopped here on our last full day on Kauai, and while you can't officially hike down to the base (due to safety restrictions), the lookout point itself is absolutely worth it.
Itโs an easy, beautiful stop that perfectly captures the magic of Kauaiโs landscapes.
