📸 Park Katzrin | The Talmudic Village | Golan Heights, Israel
📝 My Story:
One of the most fascinating stops during our journey through the Golan Heights was Park Katzrin, often called the "Talmudic Village."
Traveling with my wife, Leza, makes every adventure even more special.
She’s the heart behind so much of our travel — the main motivator, planner, and inspiration for the experiences we seek out together.
Her love for exploring new places — and her beautiful spirit — shines through in so many of the photos we capture on these trips.
Walking through the reconstructed ancient village at Katzrin felt like stepping back nearly 1,500 years.
Stone houses, olive presses, synagogues — everything was carefully recreated based on real archaeological finds from the region.
One of the most unexpected and fun moments came when a few goats wandered right up to us while we explored.
Naturally, they seemed instantly drawn to Leza — following her around like she was their long-lost friend!
It brought so much life and laughter to the experience, adding a personal memory that made this ancient place feel even more magical.
Photographing the rough basalt stones, ancient farming tools, thick wooden doors — and spontaneous moments like that — made Park Katzrin one of the most memorable stops of the trip.
